How does Traceless.online work?

Using Traceless is like having a trusted friend do the search for you, and send you the results. This way, tracking and real-time auctioning performed on the search terms is linked to another entity, and not to you. Query terms of your search are sent to Traceless's servers, and from there are sent to two search engines, currently Google and Brave. Then a simple list of links are sent to you. No referrer information is sent to each site you click on. (You can check this by typing "what is my secure referrer?" into your favorite search engine, and click on the https://referer.rustybrick.com link.)

The results page looks like this:

At this time, Google's results are on the left, and Brave's results are on the right. No logs are kept of any search, except for the crude site analytics that come with cPanel, which just counts the number of hits to the site, and from what country. That's it. Google Analytics is NOT used (you can check for this, such as by using the uMatrix plug-in. The only cookie that is set is a session cookie to keep track of the search panels, to know which one to send the appropriate results.

Once you leave Traceless, there is no trace of you being here.
